At the prestigious International Kennel Club Dogshow in
Chicago, Illinois on Feb 24, 2008.....
Our beautiful Melissa was awarded Reserve Winner's Bitch
to a 4 point major by Judge Michele L. Billings.
              Thank You Judge Billings!
This was an exceptionally memorable event as Melissa was
competing with her 3 littermate sisters...Molly,Merry and Marysia!
The International Kennel Club dogshow at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois is a "benched" show. When the dogs aren't in the show ring competing, they are on their "benches"...areas where they are on display for the public to see, touch and experience them firsthand! It is a unique experience for dogs, handlers and spectators alike. These shows are attended by crowds of interested people...sitting ringside and standing in the aisles....
In this exciting and unusual setting, our wonderful new Shaded Red girl Gabby,
"MC's Allentown's Gabrielle" entered the showring with her lovely head held upright, ears flowing back as she strode around the ring. Her motion was smooth and steady...on the table she posed for Judge Lee Canalizo like the little princess she is. When Judge Canalizo waved Gabby into first position, she acted as though it was her proper place....and accepted the 4 point Winner's Bitch Major win to the applause of the attending crowd! Thank You so much, Judge Lee Canalizo!
It was a very proud and happy moment for Gabby and for me...
holding the other end of her lead.
