Diego was bred by Tina Shepherd, Magnolia's Dachshunds.
He went to live with the Fessler Family, Cornerstone Kennels, for his first 18 months. I had been in the showring with Diego, and liked him from the first time I saw him.
Tina died tragically in Dec. 2010. I figured I'd never have one of her wonderful dachshunds after that....then Diego became available!
Sharon Fessler knew I liked Diego and she graciously agreed for him to come live at VWK. He came home with us on Feb 27,2011 from the IKC dogshow in Chicago where he won his 2nd AKC Conformation point.
Now I have a Magnolia dog to help carry on Tina's dachshund legacy!
Diego has an outstanding pedigree, with both Champion sire and dam. He is a small dog, weighing in under 10 lbs. He has a sweet,loving temperment and is boldy striped!
Diego is the perfect mate for our girls Stormy and Hope!
